  1. I love your 4th rule about encrypting data before moving it to the cloud. Especially if you’re dealing with sensitive information it would make a lot of sense to have power over the encryption process instead of leaving it entirely up to a third party. I imagine it would be very important to compare a few different cloud providers instead of just choosing the first one that meets all of these criteria as well, to ensure that you’re getting the best deal.
